Manicure and Fashion Design for Sequence!

Sequence Fashion Show is tomorrow!! I am so excited!!
I m still sewing my clothes…. omg.. i m so late..
and I have to do my nails and all..

So here it is!

As for the clothes I designed, here it is!
They are all my style.. either sexy or emo clothes. haha.

I did my manicure too!

You can get all this at pasar malam.. the OUG one.. SS2 one.. i think
Ok tools:
1. 1 shade of color in shimmer and matte
2. topcoat
3. basecoat
3. muffins (sorry couldn’t resist, looks like recipe list)
4. netting sticker
5. brushes
6. (ignore the acrylic stuff, I failed to do acrylic)
ribbons
7. flowers
8. diamantes

First, buff your nails.. wash your hands. remove all the grime. It’s disgusting if you seal in all the dirt by applying nail polish over them.
After that, apply basecoat over your nails.

Then, apply one thin layer of shimmer.

Finish the base by applying one layer of matte colour over your nails. The shimmer will show just slightly.

Stick on the netting sticker on your nails. Remember to cut before you apply your nail polish, if your nails are wet you’ll get into all sorts of sticky situations. After sticking, cut off the excess.

I wanted to do acrylic ok… but i failed miserably. I thought I was doing it the right way by dipping the brush into the liquid then the powder. but when I apply on the nail, it did not stick or powder came off. What did I do wrong???
Someone teach me!!
Obviously I haven’t learn manicure before so teach me!!
Anyway, I stuck on 3d flowers as a last resort.

Then I stuck on ribbons at the end of the net.
As a finishing touch, I stuck some diamantes here and there.

There. How sad. No acrylic. sigh.

Invitation to Sequence Fashion Show

Are you wondering why the posts are less frequent the last week?
hehe.. It’s cuz I was busy wrapping things up for my fashion show!
For one, I designed the poster.. nice onot!!!Anyway, its a collaboration between Urbanattic, Make Up Store and 3 boutiques : Bunny Noo, Sexxay Stuffs @ Sexxay Prices and well.. duh BlushBerry.It’s gonna be on the 9th of April, a Thursday night. There will be a fashion show at 10 pm but our booths will be open from 5 pm till 11 pm.
So if you wanna experience high end fashion show while shopping do come and join us!!

I will be doing the makeup for the models that night together with Make Up Store!

Did I mention that there will be my favourite band playing that night as well?
Ramanados will be heating the night up with hot tunes!!

It’s gonna be at Urbanattic, they used to be in Bangsar but they have moved to CapSquare. Map to CapSquare is below. Urbanattic is right next to Starbucks.

I will not be selling cosmetics that night but I will be launching my clothes boutique instead.

Lacquer & Lace : Tatiana Boots Review

Recently, I bought a pair of Tatiana boots from Lacquer & Lace..

I mean who can resist.. it looks fantastic.. as seen in Sex in the City, worn by Sarah Jessica Parker.
I was so excited that I decided to review this item in BlushBerry!

I had a fun time trying all the different ways of tying the shoelaces at the upper part.. and I found that lacing them zig zag makes the boot tighter and it looks better too!

We even did a photoshoot.. -_-
I just love the boots so much you know.. haha
but just like in the photo, the actual item looks great (even though it differs abit from the actual branded item = zip design and sole colour)
but it still looks fantastic!

To be honest.. I am very short… around 160 cm i think..
I was abit worried that this boots will make legs look shorter than it already is.. but to my amazement it looks longer!
I swear I didn’t elongate them in Photoshop!!
It is probably due to the extremely high heel.. which makes the shoe great for posing and dinners but not ideal for a shopping day out.

Well, all in all .. it is a great buy!
